At 15:00 on November 9, 2022, Chengdu KSD Auto Parts Co., Ltd. (Hereinafter referred to as "Chengdu KSD") held a grand-breaking ceremony of "KSD—hand-in-hand moving forward with Volvo". This marks the official landing of KSD's fourth domestic manufacturing base project.

President Li Hai said that the SPAII platform is the work of Volvo's global electrification transformation, and as the first model of the platform, the P519 project is of vital significance to Volvo's future sustainable development. For this reason, KSD has built a factory in Chengdu and strengthened the strategic cooperation between the two sides. Volvo hopes that the P519 project will be put into operation smoothly. At the same time, it wishes KSD Chengdu factory to be completed smoothly and achieve better results.

President Chen Xin said that in the past ten years, China and Germany have joined hands to invest in three modern factories in Jiangmen of Guangdong, Changchun of Jilin and Tianjin of North China, realizing the annual production scale of one million sets of vehicle wiring harness and contributing to the vigorous development of China's automotive industry. At present, KSD's business in China covers Volvo, FAW-Volkswagen, Audi, Mercedes-Benz and other first-class main engine factories.
