China Security Journal, on Apr. 26, DEREN (listed company) held international seminar on big data insurance application for auto networking jointly with Tsinghua University and CIITC. According to the introduction, DEREN and Suzhou Automobile Research Institute of Tsinghua University had established “Tsinghua – DEREN” big data on auto networking and financial insurance research center, which aims to improve and promote overseas UBI auto insurance big data analysis model and make it more suitable for the Chinese market.
At present, automobile networking has got the most successful application in UBI insurance field, Meta System (Italy) and European insurance companies, acquired by DEREN in August last year, have more than ten years of cooperative experiences in UBI field. As we can see from the information released at the meeting, the company had accumulatively delivered more than 6 million intelligent hardware all over the world as of the end of 2015. In 2015, the European PTOLEMUS consulting company ranked Meta System as the world's leading provider of auto networking technology, accounting for more than 50% of global market share.
Some people say, DEREN has been cooperating well with Meta System after acquiring its shares last year and focusing on investing China’s market continuously. DEREN hopes to meet the requirements of auto insurance pricing of insurance company and restoring accident scene etc. by the pioneering advantages of Meta system in UBI field. Finally, it will realize complete closed loop from data to business model in domestic market and upgrade the business model. DEREN has confidence in providing more professional technology and services to the Chinese market and involves in huge market of UBI new auto insurance.
